48Freight Claim Policy Freight claims must be filed in writing directly to 48Freight within 6 months of delivery date. Notification of concealed damaged must be received in writing within 15 days of delivery date. The Carriers General Rules Tariff determines the standard liability cargo insurance coverage. If the shipment contains freight with a predetermined exception value, as determined by the shipper and 48Freight, the maximum exception liability will take precedence over the standard liability coverage. Freight payment is required in FULL prior to freight claim processing. Freight claims may include freight charges legitimately due and will be reimbursed to the claimant as part of the claim payment. Freight claims may not be deducted from freight payments. Thank you.
